Red Jesus

If you have your own red Jesus on the wall
You will be just like me self-confident and free,
The world will be enough to be loved and to love,
You’ll see another light and win without fight.

If you take my hand – no meetings to attend,
No debts will be to pay, you take some other way
To Hell but nothing more, no punishment, no law,
No business to be done, no house to be run.

Red Jesus on the wall
And you don’t have to go,
Kiss me – we will fly,
Forget them all, they died…
Red Jesus on the wall,
Your body on the floor,
Do groan and I will laugh,
It was last day, my love..

I like to see your smile, your falling for a while
Down to the distant fields of other useless creeds.
Your efforts are so nice, but reaching compromise -
Is that your utter aim? Oh, hardly, I should say.

This life is not so good, I think, you understood,
You’re rushing to the sky, what for if then you die?
Do you believe in Heaven? You won’t get it – never.
There is no Heaven there or even anywhere.

You don’t believe in love – that’s silly, all we have
Is this uneasy pleasure and something else at leisure.
But if you have your own Red Jesus on the wall
You will be just like me – in love, but always free.

Red Jesus on the wall
And you don’t have to go,
Kiss me – we will fly,
Forget them all, they died…
Red Jesus on the wall,
Your body on the floor,
Do groan and I will laugh,
It was last day, my love..
